Self taught Mary Ann Vessey's love affair with the land began as a child exploring the fields and streams on her grandparents' farm. Later, she moved to Virginia's Shenandoah Valley for its rolling pastures, blue mountains, wild flowers and animals. She relies on her recollections and photos of places, people and events to paint landscapes that tell stories. Memories of her children's antics, interests, games and friends, as well as all the of their pets, chickens, geese and horses also provide an endless source of ideas. Each puzzle is available in two piece counts; 300 oversize and 500 piece that measures 18" x 24".
